From the first message to payment in hand, selling your collection is built around your convenience. No retail counter to drive to. No store hours to plan around.
Most people contact me by text, email, or phone, whichever you prefer. I respond personally, often within an hour during business times.
A few cell-phone photos are usually enough. From there I can generally make a fair, transparent offer right over text.
I can meet at my office or come to your residence anywhere in the DMV, or a nearby Starbucks if you prefer, to verify, evaluate, and pay you on the spot by whatever method you prefer: cash, Zelle, certified check, or wire.
The whole process is designed to respect your time. Most deals are handled almost entirely over text, you snap a few photos, I give you an offer, and we meet up only when you’re ready to go forward.
For higher-value collections (typically $5,000 and up), an in-person meeting is the only safe way to do business. You shouldn’t be hauling a six-figure collection through traffic to a strip-mall coin shop, and I shouldn’t be asking you to.
Start with a TextYou don’t need to be an expert, a few simple photos are usually enough for me to give you a solid quote.
A few overview photos of trays, boxes, or albums help me see what you’re working with at a glance.
Anything that looks old, large, foreign, or labeled, a closer photo helps me identify and value it accurately. Slabbed coins (PCGS/NGC/ANACS), gold coins, and silver dollars are especially worth photographing closely.
Where the collection came from, when it was assembled, or any history, context can sometimes add value, especially with original-owner collections.
This helps me figure out logistics for an appointment anywhere in Northern VA, DC, or Maryland.
Most folks find texting the fastest, but email works just as well for detailed inquiries.
Send a few photos and I’ll get back to you with a fair, transparent quote. Appointments across Northern Virginia, Washington DC, and Maryland.
